This dialog configures a list.
Id #
The number under which the list is saved internally. This field is only for viewing and is empty when you create a new list.
Name #
The name of the list. The name is used as the title for the browser window when the list is displayed and as a label when the list appears as a menu item in a menu.
Comment #
The comment field is for free use by the integrator/system administrator. It is used exclusively to document the configuration. Information can be entered here, e.g. the purpose of the element, comments on the connected hardware, room/floor and other special features. The content of this field is irrelevant for X2.
Display type #
Here you set how the list is displayed on the screen, as a list, list with enlarged spacing or in tile mode. The field can also be left blank, in which case the display mode is controlled by the global system setting.
Menu type #
Here you control whether the menu is available when this list is displayed. Leave the field empty to use the global system setting.
Auto hide #
Some control types can be hidden automatically, depending on the status of the control (e.g. alarm if no alarm message is pending). Set the checkbox to activate this behavior. If you leave the checkbox empty, the controls are always displayed.
This setting has no effect on the majority of controls, e.g. switches etc.
Icon #
Select an icon for the list here. The icon is displayed if the list is displayed in a menu or is part of another list.
Add list elements #
Control elements or other lists can be assigned to this list using the + sign. In the list, the elements can then be moved in position using drag and drop.
Notes #
A list can be used as a screen page or as a menu. If a list is used as a menu, only elements that can be used as menu items (lists or menu items) are displayed. All other elements are hidden.
